A Villa Transformed in Antique Limestone

Ancient Surfaces brought this villa together with reclaimed antique limestone, from the terrace to the living room. Outdoors, reclaimed Tunisian limestone tiles pave a sunken terrace whose centerpiece is a round fire pit built from the same reclaimed stone, its warm color variations made for long evenings with family. Inside, reclaimed Dalle de Bourgogne limestone flooring carries that character through the hallways, where a Roman mosaic crafted by hand leans against the wall and dark wooden consoles and orchids line the way toward the water. The journey ends in the living room at an antique French limestone mantel, originally sourced from historic estates, whose carved central cartouche and natural patina hold the room beneath exposed timber beams.
